Connect
We believe each Christ follower should be connected with others in some type
of small group. In the beginning, these groups will be the main way relationships
will develop as we meet, pray, talk, dream, laugh, and work together. Remember,
“The Jesus Way is the Together Way.” There are some absolutely awesome
people God is adding to us and you will have a great time with them in this
adventure. Starting in the fall, we will have groups based on various interests
and needs. As the church grows, so will the number and types of groups. There
are already some great groups forming.
Options include:
Newcomers Reception These
geographical, multi-generational groups meet once per month in different areas
around St. Louis/St. Charles counties. They provide opportunities for friendships,
care, growth, and outreach. Call the church office at 314-307-5406 for specific
locations
Small Group Ministry Small Groups. Groups
of 3-10 meeting anywhere, anytime, anyplace that is good for the people in
the group. Groups can be based on anything that is not sin (prayer, golf,
men, women, single, music, bible study, etc.). Call the church office for
more info on specific groups.
Children's Ministry The most important part
of church to me is the children! Hi, my name is Christine Holloway, and I'm
the Director of Children's Ministry here at CrossPoint Church. Over the past
ten years, I have been involved in Children's Ministry in some shape or form.
And for me, being involved in Children's Ministry is one of the most rewarding
opportunities in the whole church. Wow, with help from God, I get to plan
and organize the curriculum that helps children receive those "light
bulb" moments! Then, on Sundays, I get to teach and instill the lessons
into the minds of the children so that they can grow and understand what having
a relationship with Christ is all about.
The ultimate vision and goal that I have for children's ministry is "to help each child, no matter where they are in their walk with Christ, to grow one step closer to Him".
Here at CrossPoint Church, we believe that Children's Ministry is for children and their families. Each month, Children's Ministry will plan one to two activities for the whole family. You see, it is such a misconception that many people believe that being a "Christian" means living a boring and unhappy life. I was so excited that CrossPoint Church put on the website that, "Living the Christian life should have major doses of fun". The whole church, family, and friends are welcome to Children‘s Ministries activities.Come join the fun!

The CHASE The CHASE is a community of people in their 20's that chases after the heart of God in response to His pursuit of us. No matter where you are spiritually, the CHASE is a group of welcoming people who sincerely want to get to know you and to connect with the God who loves beyond what we can comprehend. To do that, we get together to study and discuss the Bible, talk about what's going on in our lives, and hang out in group outings and get-togethers. The group is just getting started, and we invite you to join us at the CHASE to be warmly welcomed and to join us as we seek the One who seeks us.

The Edge The EDGE is a welcoming, relevant ministry especially for teens that meets you right where you are with the truth. 2 Peter 1:3 says, "{God's} divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness". In other words, we already have all the tools we need to live a Godly and satisfying life! All we have to do is utilize those tools. The EDGE is a ministry for teens that seek to do just that - teach you how to utilize the tools God has already provided in order to live what Scripture calls "the abundant life" (see John 10:10). Our group is called The EDGE to remind us that God has given us "the competitive edge" on life.

Starting Point This 10 weeks class/small group gives you
an introduction to essential truths for strong spiritual growth. Starting
Point is required for membership and leadership in the church. The day and
place vary from time to time, so check the calendar for up to date info.
