Exalt God
God is wonderful! He is the creator and sustainer of life. We
are designed to live for Him and from Him. Knowing and loving Him is our greatest
privilege.
God Himself is our highest priority. More than any particular
teaching, doctrine, or principle, we emphasize having a living, loving relationship
with God t through Jesus Christ.
Worship is the highest form of prayer and the highest calling
of the church.
We desire to live lives of worship that bring glory to Him in
all we are and do.
We desire all that God wants to give us. We hunger for His presence,
His Word, His Spirit, His holiness, His life, and His power.
Embrace One Another
Jesus said loving our neighbor as ourselves is the 2nd greatest
commandment. He desires that we love each other as He loved us.
We endeavor to love each other in word and action, even when it
costs us something.
God designed us to have friendships and relationships. We are
radical in reaching out, welcoming, including, and valuing people right where
they are.
Getting people connected in a small group is essential for wholeness
and growth.
We seek diversity because we realize God wants to make us all
“one” in Christ. We seek understanding and reconciliation between
people groups.
All lasting ministry comes out of relationships. Everyone does
better and more is accomplished when we work as a team.
Equip
God has a great plan for every person. We try to help them discover
and live that plan. As each person does their part, the kingdom of God grows
and people find fulfillment and life satisfaction.
Everyone needs training and equipping to do what God has called
them to do.
All leaders and members should be passing on what God has given
them.
We need a team, a variety of leaders, to equip the church so that
it grows to maturity in all areas.
We practice “Next Generation Thinking” so that we stay
relevant and are consistently developing new leaders. Faithfulness and fruitfulness
are necessary for Godly promotion.
Encourage
Victorious living is God’s will for all of us and is made
possible through faith in God and His word.
The Bible will change your life. We encourage the study of God’s
Word.
Pray and obey is God’s way to success. Living the Christian
life should have major doses of fun. When we delight ourselves in God, He
promises to give us the desires of our hearts.
Encouraged people are happy and productive people. We value initiative
and give freedom to experiment with new ideas. Most of God’s guidance
comes “in the rough”, so short term failure is often
the price and the teacher of success.
Expand
The Great Commission is everyone’s commission. Each Christ
follower and each church must prioritize expanding God’s kingdom into
every area of society in every nation.
God loves everyone and has great plans for everyone. They must
know that, and we must show them and tell them.
Each believer is designed by God to reach others for Christ. Each
believer should develop relationships with those who do not know Jesus yet
and love them towards God.
Diverse groups and ministries are great ways to reach different
types of people.
We desire to encourage and promote healthy church planting. This
is one of the best ways to reach and disciple people.
God wants to fill every nation with His glory. He wants to reach
people from every people group on the planet. We support missions through
prayer, financial giving, and training. We encourage and value
the sending out of missionaries
